Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy,
A new film at the cinema about five superheroes Peter Quill, Rocket, Gamora, Drax and Groot.

The film is made by the creators of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers Assemble.

Here is some information about the group.



Peter Quill

An adventurer who was abducted from earth at a very young age, He joined the Guardians of the Galaxy to prevent a powerful villain from destroying the Galaxy.


Gamora

Gamora is an alien orphan who was raised by the mysterious Thanos to become the perfect weapon. Gamora now seeks redemption for her past crimes.


Rocket is a talking racoon who is a master of using weapons. He owns many Guns and rockets.


Drax

Drax has a personal vendetta against Ronan who killed his family.  Drax is fuelled with rage and will stop nothing as being the most dangerous in the whole Galaxy.


Groot

Groot is a very friendly member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He appears to look like a tree, also.

The Flash

The Flash is a DC superhero. His powers are being fast at running. He wears a red and yellow costume, his enemy Zoom has the opposite to him. Flash is a member of The Justice League.
There is another Flash named The Kid-Flash he wears yellow and red too.

The Flash has been changed many times. He has worked alongside Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Three famous DC characters.

Barry Allen is the Flash, he has a ring which makes him always ready when evil strikes.

The Incredible Hulk

The Hulk is a superhero published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in 1962. Hulk's secret identity is Bruce Banner, a scientist who can get a bit angry. His anger makes him into the big green monster we know it as the Hulk. Hulk can grow when he gets angry, he can also get a lot stronger.

The Hulk became itself after a GAMMA bomb Bruce Banner invented while saving Rick Jones, a youth who went onto the testing range. Bruce can't control when he turns into the Hulk or when he is the Hulk.

In 2011 Hulk placed 9th on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book heroes...

Batman

Batman is a DC superhero. Though he has no superhuman powers he still is amazing.
He has many gadgets in his utility belt, and some others like the Bat-Mobile. I like Batman mostly because of how he fights. Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne. Find out more below...



Bruce Wayne is a billion air. He owns a business called Wayne Enterprises. He lives at Wayne Manor in Gotham City. His butler Alfred Pennyworth has worked for the Wayne family for a very long time.


Batman Comics are Detective Comics made by DC Universe. He goes through the night stopping criminals from killing, robbing and doing other bad things.

He has other names such as The Dark Knight, The Caped crusader and The Bat.

Batman has battled many enemies over his time here are a few of them:


The Joker,
The Penguin,
Cat Woman,
Two Face,
Bane,
Poison Ivy
and
The Riddler

Captain America

Captain America is an American Marvel Comics character, He first appeared in comic books in March 1941.

Captain America was an American soldier during world war 2 who was given a serum that transformed him into a super soldier.
He wears a patriotic costume, wields an indestructible circular shield, and fights for American ideals of liberty and justice.

Captain America has no superhuman powers, but through the Super-Soldier Serum and "Vita-Ray" treatment, he is transformed and his strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, durability, and healing are at the zenith of natural human potential. Rogers' body regularly replenishes the super-soldier serum; it does not wear off.^[106]


Steven Rodgers has faced numerous foes over the past 70 years of published adventures. Here are some of his foes:

The X-Men

The X-Men are a school of Mutants.
Some with absolutely amazing super powers and some with quite bad super powers

The Brother hood are Mutants too. Ran by the powerful Magneto.
Magneto and Charles Xavier were good friends before Erik Lensherr ( Magneto) turned evil.

Wolverine is a mutant found by Cyclops and storm. His body is made from a metal called adamantium. It is impossible to cut through it.
